JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Digital Marketing drives strategy while also executing key digital initiatives to accelerate revenue growth. This data-driven leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing performance marketing efforts—including paid search, social, SEO, and email marketing—while actively managing tracking, analysis, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on: highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to test new ideas. Success in this role is defined by achieving a 10% year-over-year increase in direct click attribution sales. This is a remote position with our headquarters located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across paid search (Google), social (Meta), SEO, and Google Merchant, and email marketing.
  • Manage campaigns end-to-end—from strategy and setup to optimization, tracking, and budget management.
  • Implement and oversee SEO initiatives including technical, on-page, and off-page efforts to drive organic growth.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to track performance, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Optimize website traffic and lead conversions across all digital channels, including email and landing pages.
  • Monitor externally managed campaigns and ensure performance aligns with defined objectives.
  • Create clear, professional weekly reports and dashboards highlighting performance metrics, insights, and recommendations.
  • Present updates to leadership, ensuring alignment on campaign goals, results, and necessary adjustments.
  • Act as a project manager, taking campaigns from concept to execution while meeting deadlines and KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders on strategy and execution.
  • Work closely with the Director of Products and Special Projects to align digital efforts with product sales goals.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure ongoing performance improvements.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Director of Products and Special Projects on product sales strategies and offerings throughout the year.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward efficiently.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve performance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both customer and internal collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing processes.
  • Understanding of Christianity, the Christian church, and pastoral leadership is required.
  • Currently resides in, and is eligible to work in the USA without any employer visa sponsorship.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years in a director-level digital marketing role, preferably within a $5MM+ organization with proven growth results.
  • Deep expertise in SEO strategy, technical optimization, keyword research, and paid advertising with a track record of positive ROI.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience managing Meta and Google Paid Search campaigns.
  • Strong background in digital funnel management and lead generation strategy.
  • Proficient in GA4, Google Tag Manager, CRM platforms (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or similar), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Graphic design ability is a plus.

  • Considerable exposure to stressful situations and tight deadlines.
