The Solutions Architect is an expert designer of distributed cloud based systems and engages with engineering to design solutions and integrations while creating architectural runway and frameworks to support high priority initiatives. The incumbent also partners and collaborates with other architects and business stakeholders while acting as a consultant, coach and mentor to drive the overall technical vision.<br><br><strong>What will you do?</strong></div><ul><li>Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.</li><li>Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ's mandate to protect children. Raises awareness of the needs of children and takes active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children. Promotes the dignity, respect, positive treatment, potential of children in all circumstances. Encourages the involvement of others in helping children in need. Reports and appropriately supports responses to incidents of harm of children if they occur.</li><li>Lead translation of business objectives into optimized functional solutions.</li><li>Define and establish best practices and Non Functional Requirements for the IT organization.</li><li>Effectively capture, present and communicate technical and architectural designs.</li><li>Proactively learn new technologies, standards, and applications; to keep current with new developments in technology.</li><li>Research, conceptualize and develop prototypes to test architectural concepts.</li><li>Optimize for performance, scalability, reliability, extensibility and total cost of ownership.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative.</li></ul><div><br><strong>What will you bring?</strong></div><ul><li>Experience in cloud based architectures, microservices, and distributed patterns.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with global technology regulations, standards, and laws.</li><li>Proficient in one or more software development language.&nbsp; Go, C#, Python, and/or JavaScript a plus but not required.</li><li>Microservices / SOA / API and layered abstraction design skills.</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks, version control, tools, automation, testing, and processes.</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce offerings.&nbsp; Salesforce certifications a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS managed services and serverless patterns.
