About Pray As You Go 

Pray As You Go is a digital ministry helping people deepen their relationship with God through 

prayer, reflection, and spiritual content. With millions of users engaging through our app, 

website, and podcast platforms, we’re looking for a creative and strategic Freelance Senior 

Designer to help shape and elevate our digital experience across platforms. 

The Role 

We’re looking for a Senior Designer to collaborate with us on a freelance basis. You’ll play a 

key role in creating thoughtful, user-centered designs that support spiritual reflection and 

engagement. This is a flexible, remote role with the potential for ongoing work. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Rapidly generate multiple design solutions using wireframes, user flows, and prototypes 

that clearly communicate ideas. 

● Create high-fidelity comps, assets, and design documentation for development handoff. 

● Present new design concepts to internal stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate 

effectively. 

●  Test interactive prototypes with users and analyze insights to inform design direction. 

● Ensure all designs align with our brand’s design system while adapting to the needs of 

various platforms (iOS, Android, web, tablets etc.) 

● Collaborate with developers throughout implementation—refining designs, answering 

questions, testing beta builds, and submitting bug reports. 

What We’re Looking For 

● Strong experience in product or UX/UI design with a portfolio that shows your process 

and outcomes. 

● Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

● Understanding of platform-specific design patterns and accessibility best practices. 

● Clear communication skills and a collaborative, self-driven mindset. 

● Comfort working independently and managing your own schedule. 

Bonus Points For 

● Experience with audio-first and/or voice user interfaces. 

● Familiarity with designing for Christian or non-profit digital experiences. 

● A personal connection to the mission or values of Pray As You Go.
