Job Title: Full-Stack Software Developer

Overview: We're on a quest to build a better tech alternative, and we need your skills to make it happen! As a Full-Stack Software Developer at Shiloh, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying software applications that align with our mission and values.

Your Role: As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in building and shaping the future of our projects. If you're a motivated and talented Full-Stack Software Developer looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!

Your Mission:

  • Build the Alt: Design and develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly software applications using the latest tech like Python, JavaScript, and Docker.
  • Squad Goals: Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.
  • Code Like a Pro: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and our team's coding standards.
  • Code Review Mastery: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase and development processes.
  • Bug Bounty Hunter: Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide technical support to our clients and users as needed.
  • Level Up: Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our software applications and services.

The Essentials:

  • Code Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development with Python, JavaScript, Docker, Linux systems admin, VMs, and Networking.
  • Programming Proficiency: Skilled in one or more programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript, and experience with Docker.
  • Software Principles: Solid grasp of software development principles, including security, scalability, and usability.
  • Collaboration & Version Control: Proficient in Git, agile methodologies, and able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Adaptability & Passion: Eager to learn, adapt to new tech, and driven by a passion for open-source software, decentralization, and digital freedom.

  • Must be located in the USA and be a US citizen.

Bonus Points:

  • Security Savvy: Experience with cybersecurity principles, security testing, and vulnerability assessment.
