Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's goals. This role requires a strong background in financial management, investment management, and fiscal oversight. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance and enhancing operational efficiency.
Job Purpose
Responsible for all accounting and finance functions, including the monthly close process, billings to clients, collection of accounts receivable, accounts payable and payments to vendors, preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, facilitating the preparation of the annual tax returns with the CPA firm. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for making recommendations and implementing policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues, in addition to creating procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting processes, procedures and controls
- Maintain the Company’s general ledger and supporting documentation
- Complete monthly and annual accounting close process, including account reconciliations, account analysis, and preparation of financial statements and reports
- Responsible for member invoicing, collection of accounts receivable, accounts payable and payments to vendors
- Record and reconcile credit card transactions, maintain supporting documentation for all transactions
- Monitor and direct all treasury functions and manage spending
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
- Facilitate the preparation of the annual tax return with CPA firm
- Prepare specific owner-requested reports for each department of the organization
- Produce activity statements relative to daily operations
- Produce activity summary reports relative to the monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations
- Perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities as required
Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in providing data analysis and producing reports
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct data entry, invoicing, and reporting
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent people skills, works well with others
- Ability to maintain focus regardless of distractions
- Task-oriented and diligent but flexible
This is a full-time, exempt position with an expected starting annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per year.
